Four modalities woven into one integrated method — Pilates, Fascia Science, Osteopathic Principles, and Somatic Intelligence. 450+ hours of immersive training in New York City. No prior certification required.
Most certifications teach one modality in isolation. Somatique Atelier integrates four — building a depth of understanding most programs never reach. Whether you're new to movement or deepening an existing practice, this is a complete professional foundation.
From day one, you will learn classical Pilates apparatus technique woven together with fascia science, osteopathic structural assessment, and somatic awareness practices. Not as separate subjects — as one integrated system, the way the body actually works.
Our certification program takes place in Midtown East, Manhattan — one of New York City's most accessible neighborhoods, minutes from major transit hubs. In-person training gives you hands-on experience with apparatus work, manual therapy techniques, and movement observation.
For students outside NYC, we offer hybrid options: join us in-person for intensive module weekends, and complete theoretical coursework online. Either way, you train with Lauren directly.

Each module builds on the last. By the end, you will not think in separate modalities. You will think in movement.
The Pilates method as Joseph Pilates conceived it. Apparatus technique, spring mechanics, and the original exercise vocabulary — taught with precision and historical depth.
Fascia is not just wrapping. It is the organ of form. This module rewires how you understand the body's architecture — from individual muscles to continuous tensional networks.
Somatic awareness is the missing piece in most movement training. Learn to sense before you instruct — developing the internal listening that transforms teaching from technical to transformative.
Understanding how bones, joints, and visceral structures communicate through the fascial web. Assessment without diagnosis — structural reading as a tool for precision teaching.
Cadillac, Wunda Chair, Ladder Barrel, and Spine Corrector. Advanced progressions sequenced through the lens of fascial continuity and somatic intelligence — not just exercise order.
Hands-on technique that bridges Pilates tactile cueing with myofascial release principles. Learning to touch with precision, sensitivity, and clarity of purpose.
A comprehensive assessment framework combining structural observation, movement screening, and somatic inquiry. The foundation for intelligent, individualized session design.
Working with pre/postnatal clients, chronic pain, hypermobility, trauma, and aging bodies — with the full depth of the integrated method behind every adaptation.
Finding your voice as an integrated movement educator. Class design, group dynamics, and the philosophy of instruction — developing the presence that makes great teachers.
100 hours of hands-on teaching under mentor supervision. Real clients, real feedback, real growth. The bridge between knowledge and professional confidence.
Building a career as a certified Somatique practitioner. Business, branding, and the economics of premium movement education — taught by someone who has built exactly this.
Written theory, practical demonstration, and a case study presentation. The culmination of 450+ hours — proving your mastery across all four modalities and earning your certification.
Lauren brings a rare convergence of classical artistry, clinical science, and decades of lived movement practice to every aspect of this training.
Lauren's methodology bridges the precision of classical technique with the depth of osteopathic and fascial science — the result of training at the highest levels of both the performing arts and clinical rehabilitation. A Royal Ballet School alumna, she brings a dancer's embodied intelligence to every movement principle she teaches. Her academic credentials in osteopathic rehabilitation and naprapathic medicine give the Somatique method its clinical rigour. STOTT Pilates Fully Certified and GYROTONIC® trained, Lauren's integrated approach reflects more than a decade of teaching, clinical practice, and methodological development. This certification is, in many ways, the course she wished had existed when she began.
Our students share one thing: a deep curiosity about how the body works and the commitment to make movement their profession. No prior certification required.
You've always been fascinated by how the body works and want a career built around that fascination. This is a comprehensive, rigorous path to get there.
Ready to leave your current field for something you deeply care about. The program is designed to build a complete professional foundation — 450+ hours of immersive training.
You've taken Pilates classes, explored yoga, or studied bodywork — and you want to go deeper. Not just as a hobby, but as a profession rooted in an integrated understanding of the body.
Lauren brings a rare convergence of classical performance training and advanced clinical education to Somatique Atelier. A Royal Ballet School alumna, she built her foundation in the precision of classical movement before turning her focus to the science of the body — completing doctoral-level research in osteopathic rehabilitation and clinical practice in naprapathic medicine.
Her methodology draws from decades of integrated study: the structural rigour of STOTT Pilates, the fluid three-dimensionality of GYROTONIC® movement, and the deep tissue intelligence of osteopathic manual therapy — woven into one coherent, teachable framework.
