The body doesn't train in parts. It moves as one connected system — fascia threading through muscle, breath influencing posture, nervous system shaping how force travels.
But most certification programs still teach modality by modality: a Pilates teacher over here, a anatomy course over there, a movement module somewhere else. They treat the body like a collection of separate components to be learned in isolation.
The Somatique Method was built on a different premise: the body is a single integrated system, and a teacher needs to see and work with that whole system — not just one angle of it.
